Wafer Check Valve

They are available in two types Swing Check Valve and Non Slam Check Valve.

Swing type wafer check valves used in pipelines to prevent back flow of fluid. Designed to fit between two flanges these valves provide a compact installation when compared to the conventional flanged end check valve. They have very short overall length in comparison with the standard flange end check valves. These valves are available in CS, SS304 and SS316 Body & Disc MOC with various seat options in Nitrile / EPDM/ PTFE/ Viton.

Non Slam Check Valves (DCV) are lift type non return valves used in pipelined to prevent backflow of liquid. These valves are manufactured in stainless steel SS304 or SS316 and can be mounted in any plane, horizontal, vertical or inclined. They are available in size Range 15 mm to 200 mm. DCV is generally metal seated, PTFE Seat can be provided on request.

Wafer check valves are fast acting in closing, thereby maximizing protection to prevent or minimize the adverse effect of backflow.  Opening and closing of valve takes palace over extremely low pressure difference over the valve disc. The valves are manufactured according to API 6D standards and tested in accordance with API 598.
